This fabulously fun image is from Karen's Doodles, and it's called What A Swing.  It's the 2nd time I've used it on a card.  I've coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the Your Next Stamp Summer Plaid pack.  The golf bag is Jolee's and the other little golfing goodies are Dress It Up buttons.

Hi Everybody!

This week the team at Digi Choosday decided to give you a bit of Vintage inspiration.  I instantly thought of fairytales, and then of Cinders, in her tatty dress, which has a vintage feel in itself.  I drew in a bit of background for her - the wall, kitchen table and window.  I wanted to keep my papers as neutral and soft as possible, so I chose soft browns from the Winston range, and distressed all the edges.

I've added loads of flowers, a strip of cheesecloth, a wooden corner swirl and a vintage clock, as well as a vintage milk can, on the table.

Now, be sure to pop back to the challenge blog, to pick up today's DISCOUNT CODE!  While you're there, have a look at what the rest of the team have created for your inspiration this week.  Then take your special code over to the shop to fulfil all your crafty needs!  Don't forget to enter your creation in our challenge for the week!  These links will take you straight there⬇︎

I wish you a wonderful week of crating!

Thanks so much for popping by!

We have a dinosaur lover in our family, and he's celebrating his 3rd birthday.  I decided to go with pre-coloured images from the Polkadoodles Sticks and Bones collection, to whip this one out quickly.  I cut all the images out on my Cricut, and used the number 3 to make the base card.  And that's all there was to it!

Hi Everybody!

This week at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges, we are showcasing two fantastic sponsors, with 2 fantastic prizes up for grabs!

is giving away 3 digi images of the winner's choice, and

is giving away 2 digi images of the winner's choice

I have made a card using Dog Days of Summer from Pattie's Creations.  I've coloured the image with markers.

My paper is from the PhotoPlay Cooper & Friends pack.  I typed up the sentiment and cut it out using a Spellbinders die.  The doggie treats and sunglasses are Jolee's stickers, and the dog tag is a Creative Mates sticker.

Both our sponsors this week have a wonderful array of images available, so you'll want to pop over to their stores to have a look.  You can use their logos above.

Be sure to pop back to Penny's to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration this week.

Good luck!

There is little more heart-wrenching than losing a furry loved one.  We lost 2 in the space of a few months, a few years ago, and I wasn't sure I was going to ever fully recover from the loss.  I don't think I have.

This week I was asked to make a sympathy card for someone going through this pain right now.  I feel that sympathy cards serve one purpose only - as the means of carrying our message of love, support and sorrow, and therefore, they shouldn't draw any attention to themselves.  While we may feel joy at the reaction of someone opening a beautiful hand made birthday card, there is no joy surrounding a loss.  So... when these awful cards need to be sent out, I like to keep them as plain and simple as possible.

I used two embossing folders to create the base, a Spellbinders die for the sentiment tag, and a Poppy Crafts die for the heart.  I typed up the sentiment and used a KaiserCraft paw print stamp.  I've added a bunch of teeny roses.

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations May Challenge: Clean & Simple

Good Morning fellow crafters!

This week at PASSION FOR PROMARKERS we'd like you to add gems or pearls to your project.

We have a fantastic prize up for grabs!

will be giving 3 digi images to our lucky winner!

I have used Lonely Sisi, and coloured her with Promarkers.
I wanted her to stand out from her background, so I kept everything else mainly monochromatic.  I have created a box card for her, using papers from the Stamperia Old Lace pack.  There are lots of pearls in the paper design, and I've added a pretty pearl swirl on the front flap.

To be included in our random draw for a winner this week, just use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products, and follow the theme.  It would help the Design Team if you could mention in your post, which Winsor & Newton product you've used (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers).

Good Luck!
